There are 138,162 words in the New Testament, give or take a few, consisting of about 5,430 different words. However 320 of these words account for 90% of the vocabulary. If you learn these words you should be able to read the NT quite fluently.
We have made various vocabularies and flash cards for these words, additionally, we have provided separate vocabularies for many of the lexicon readings, as well as the interliner readings (and we are adding and improving on these every day as we get feed back). This page allows you to access the main vocabularies, to access the lectionary vocabularies you should see the individual lectionary pages.
this web-site is not designed for 'Greek Gurus', it is designed for ordinary folks like you and me who would like to read the Bible in the original language, probably using an interlinar translation, so very little prior knowledge is assumed. However you must know the Greek alphabet, and it is assumed that you know as a minimum the declension of definite article, and the demonstrative adjectives, as well as the conjugation of the present and imperfect tense of the verb 'to be'.
